1. What are Escape Dollars?

Escape Dollars are the unique currency for the Escape Club program. Escape Dollars can be obtained through the conversion of member's hotel spend when they stay or dine at a Constellation Hotel.

2. How can I earn Escape Dollars?

Present your card whenever you stay or dine at a Constellation Hotel and you will earn one Escape Dollar for every $20 Australian dollars or $22 New Zealand Dollars you spend, including GST.

3. Can I earn Escape Dollars for multiple room bookings?

A member will be eligible to earn Escape Dollars for up to 5 rooms per night provided that no other Member has already earned Escape Dollars in respect to those rooms.

4. Can I earn Escape Dollars if I am not paying?

A member can earn Escape Dollars for rooms that are paid for by their business/ company provided that no other Member has already earned Escape Dollars in respect to those rooms.

5. Do my Escape Dollars have an expiry?

All Escape Dollars credited to a Members Escape Dollar balance will expire after 24 months of being issued.

6. What if earned Escape Dollars are missing from my account?

Escape Dollars earned will not be credited to a members Escape Dollar balance retrospectively (unless an error has been made by a hotel or the Escape Club). 7. What can I use my Escape Dollars for?

Once a member's Escape Dollar balance reaches a minimum of 20 Escape Dollars, the member may, in one transaction use a minimum of 20 Escape Dollars as:

  • Full or part payment at a Constellation Hotel (excluding any goods or services offered by a third party at a Constellation Hotel);
  • Full payment for the purchase of a Constellation Gift Card(s) of certain amounts; or
  • Full or part payment for the purchase of any Program Partner Goods/ Services that may be offered from time to time

8. How do I redeem my Escape Dollars?

a) Use of Escape Dollars at a Constellation Hotel: Where Escape Dollars are to be used as full or party payment for a stay or for dining at Constellation Hotel, in most instances, the members does not need to make a prior reservation with their Escape Dollars, however the members must, prior to their bill being finalized, advise the hotel that Escape Dollars will be used as full or part payment and present their Escape Club card at this time.

b) Use of Escape Dollars for the purchase of Constellation Gift Card(s): Constellation Gift Cards are available for purchase in amounts between AU$100 - AU$1000 in increments of AU$50 from Central Reservations & Rewards on 1300 650 464 (within Australia), 0800 700 433 (New Zealand) during business hours or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Only whole Escape Dollars can be redeemed. Minimum 20 Escape Dollars must be redeemed/ used in each transaction.

9. What dining benefits am I entitled to?

Silver Member:

  1. One complimentary beer, wine or other selected beverage for Members when a main meal is purchased


Gold Member:

  1. One complimentary beer, wine or other selected beverage for Members when a main meal is purchased;
  2. One complimentary bottle of selected wine when a main meal is purchased and two or more people are dining (limit 5 per year); OR
  3. One complimentary main meal when another main meal is purchased and two or more people are dining (limit 5 per year)


Diamond Member:

  1. One complimentary beer, wine or other selected beverage for Members when a main meal is purchased;
  2. One complimentary bottle of selected wine when a main meal is purchased and two or more people are dining (unlimited); OR
  3. One complimentary main meal when another main meal is purchased and two or more people are dining (unlimited)

10. Where can I use my dining benefits?

At any Constellation Hotel with restaurant facilities.

11. How do I redeem my dining benefits?

Simply present your card when you dine to redeem your dining benefit.

12. How can I become a Gold or Diamond Member?

To reach Gold & Diamond membership status you must reach the following qualifying spend:

  • Gold Membership - qualifying spend $6,000
  • Diamond Membership - qualifying spend $12,000


13. Do you offer a benefit to Escape Club members that book a conference?

All level members can receive a AU$100 Constellation Gift Card when they spend $2,000 on a conference booking in one transaction.
Once the conference has been paid in full, members must complete the on-line claim form

14. Can I earn Escape Dollars on Conferences?

No, however you may be eligible for the Escape Club conference benefit of a AU$100 Gift Card.
